The Bus Drivers

The Bus Drivers: a band backed by a lifetime of experience and passion for playing music. Featuring former members of several successful Connecticut bands, The Bus Drivers prides itself on putting on a spectacular show wherever and whenever the band plays. The band is currently working on its first record with songs that blend all of their influences into rootsy rock songs that have been called "raw, genuine, dynamic, and melodic." The band's songwriting, musicianship, and live performances are all parts of what makes The Bus Drivers. The band also has an eclectic selection of cover material, when needed, to add to the musical experience.

Four distinct personalities and talents merged to form The Bus Drivers. Jeff Przech (lead vocals/guitar) possesses a wide vocal range and a commanding, powerful voice. Joe O'Brien (bass/vocals) fuses the intensity of John Entwistle with the artistry of players like Victor Wooten. Dennis Fancher (lead guitar/vocals) is a true guitar virtuoso, combining lightning fast hands with fluid slide and tasteful rhythm playing. Mike Rau (drums/vocals), called the "Human Metronome," is flash without the flash on the drums, blending tasty accents with a solid backbeat. The musical and personal dynamic between these four individuals makes the band the strongest it's ever been, a fact that is apparent to the band's fans and audiences everywhere.

Johnny & The Pushers is the brainchild of JP and Brendan - who met of all places in a Columbian prison. Having survived that they both soon learned that they also had a shared interest in music

Caravan Of Thieves

Like many families, this one started with a married couple- Fuzz and Carrie Sangiovanni, (guitar, vocals, various percussive “instruments”) writing and performing as a duo. “It started as a romantic, bohemian vision of a couple making music, performing on the road, in parks, venues, traveling around and avoiding responsibility as much as possible,” says Fuzz. “The first thing we discovered was we loved singing together, harmonizing our voices. Just seemed to click right away.”

In the spring of 2008, Fuzz and Carrie extended their family to include fiery violinist Ben Dean and double bass madman, Brian Anderson completing their colorful vision. Since then, the four of them ran away from home and never looked back.

Within that first year, the Caravan of Thieves began to win immediate praise for their unique blend of gypsy swing and popular music, inspiring them to record and release the debut full- length album Bouquet (2009). To accompany this collection of dramatic and satirical tales, they built an interactive stage set of percussive junk and the ragtag quartet took their newly animated show on the road, sharing stages with world renowned artists such as Emmylou Harris, Dan Hicks, Glen Campbell, Nanci Griffith, The Decemberists, Keb Mo, Tom Tom Club, Iron and Wine, Punch Brothers, Tony Trischka, John Hammond, John Jorgenson and many others. The Caravan successfully connected with audiences on each of these diverse bills, proving their act to be understood and appreciated by folk, pop, rock and jazz audiences of all ages.

Eric Sardinas & Big Motor

The term "blues-rock" brings with it a connotation of a blues artist "selling out" in order to make more money or a rock band blaring heavy riffs with a thinly veiled strain of blues. A worse offense is that many of these rock artists have little or no knowledge of the blues in its historical context or its mythological roots.

That is certainly not true in the case of Eric Sardinas. At six, his first love was Delta blues, as it "was the thrill of hearing one person playing the guitar and generating the energy of five - I loved the sheer strength and heart of a single player." Just as unusual was citing his first influences as Barbecue Bob, Charley Patton, and Bukka White, then Elmore James, Muddy Waters, and Big Bill Broonzy. He exclusively concentrates on slide guitar, employing his cherished Dobros, some that are customized to play by Edison's power. Sardinas listens to 78s, then couples these influences with modern sounds.

Check out their latest release "Boomerang" on Jazzhaus Records.

Brother Jocephus & The Love Revolution

Since 2007 Brother Joscephus and the Love Revolution has been on a musical mission to make the world a more righteous place.  The two main visionaries of this 12-piece explosion of love - Brother Joscephus and his eccentric cohort, the Right Reverend Dean Dawg - dip heavily into a gumbo rich with the powerful rhythms of New Orleans, old school funk and soul, classic rock and a healthy dose of feel-good gospel music.  BroJo combines all this with a message of righteousness, urging us towards acceptance and loving one another.  When you combine the music and the message with a one-of-a-kind, high-energy stage spectacle, you got yourself one hell of a revolution on your hands.

Street Life Rock & Soul Review

Street Life Rock n Soul Review is made up of some of CT's finest veteran singers and players. Thunder Road, Street Temperature, The Downbeats, The Matt Zeiner Band are just a few of the legendary bands of which the members of Street Life are alumni. Four lead singers, blazing soloists, amazing harmonies and the baddest rhythm section around are the cornerstones of the Rock n Soul Review's stunning performances. The band's repertoire is instantly recognizable and eminently danceable, but far from cliche...the song choices are as unique as Brian MacDonald's baritone voice. The band grooves hard and sounds sweet.

Frank Viele

Frank Viele constructs his sound beneath an acoustic funk ceiling with windows of alternative pop, folk and soul. A musical carpenter in the independent rock genre, this singer/songwriters approach mixes a dry wit with a soulful touch. A storytelling angle finishes out the floors of this building. Frank's sound construction is cemented together by a solid blues foundation and his stylistically aware approach is evident in his singing and guitar playing. Working off the brick and mortar of influences ranging from Dave Matthews to Otis Redding and Ray Lamontagne to Johnny Lang, Frank delivers an authenticity showcasing a familiarity to the inspirations that came before him. Frank Viele is Acoustic funk, electrified with a shot of Pop, Rock and Soul. Add Rhythm and Blues for a Chaser.

A self-professed terrible driver, cartoon lover and blue-collar entrepreneur, Frank's musical roots started in his hometown of Milford, Connecticut. His passion for music developed as early as the age of three, when Frank was imitating songs on his Grandmother's piano that he heard on the television. As much about variety as versatility, Frank enjoys everything from Miami Dolphins Football to Salvador Dali's Melting Clock paintings. He still reads Shakespeare and Greek Mythologies but would never miss an episode of The Simpsons. Frank's wide array of musical influences include Sam Cooke, Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia and Jimi Hendrix. In fact, Frank says the opening track on the Band of Gypsies Record changed his life. More modern inspirations include Dave Matthews, Ryan Adams and Ben Harper.

This spectrum of interests mixed with a great sense of humor and an introspective take on music, sports, food, art and life, defines a renaissance man in the truest sense of the word.
